Ticketing Purchasing Policy
Purpose
To provide clear instructions for TEG Workers when purchasing tickets for events.
Scope
This Policy applies to any person who carries out work in any capacity for TEG including employees and Contractors referred to as Workers in this Policy.
Definitions
Workers must only purchase tickets through Public Facing Channels. Workers must not purchase tickets through Non-Public Facing Channels under any circumstances. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, including the termination of employment.
Commitment
- Public Facing Channels: Means channels through which tickets for events are accessible by the general public. For example: authorised ticket vendors, physical ticket outlets, online ticketing websites, advertised ticketing apps or published ticketing links.
- Non-public facing channels: Any platform, channel or method that is not a Public Facing Channel. For example: channels that provide restricted access to event tickets including (without limitation) internal or external ticketing systems, ticket holds or allocations or other specialised channels that are not accessible by the general public.
