Education assistance and leave

We are committed to providing financial and study assistance to employees interested in pursuing business specific education to advance their career. Staff can apply for certification (e.g. CA/CPA, practicing certificate) or assistance in pursuing further study (e.g. a Bachelor/ Masters). For approved study, financial assistance is provided as well as time off to study. You can read more about your eligibility to apply in the policy here.

Job rotation on special projects

Each year TEG delivers events across the world with the Department of Veterans Affairs to recognise the service of the men and women who fought for our freedom. Staff are nominated by their manager/ SLT member to attend the trip – all expenses paid by TEG (including business class flights!).

Secondment to major clients and/or events

In addition to the DVA trips, we provide opportunities for our staff to go on a secondment for a particular client or event. For example, we seconded a staff member to Rugby League World Cup to provide on-the-ground services to our client. Another staff member worked closely with our client, GOLDOC, to deliver the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.

Professional membership

Professional development is critical and relies on you being kept up to date with legislative and industry changes. TEG provides reimbursement for professional membership or licenses to eligible employees. You must seek approval from your manager before processing an expense claim.
